Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak Temporary Exception to Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals’ Cancellation Policies

We have Temporarily Altered our Cancellation Policy with our Guests in Mind!

* If you are arriving before May 19, 2020, and would like to voluntarily cancel your reservation:

** You can reschedule your stay, receiving ALL fees (including Processing Fee and Travel Insurance if purchased) issued back in the form of a credit toward a future stay.

*** This credit can be used for any other date in 2020 or 2021. (There are 4 properties that the credit must be used by the end of the year).
*** You can choose any unit; any date and your funds will be credited to that unit stay. We prefer you stay in the same unit you had rented but we understand due to availability that may not be possible.

**** If the unit is more expensive you can pay the difference.
**** If the unit is less expensive, there will be no refund (consider upgrading to a more expensive unit).
**** There are no blackout dates. (Florida is a great place to be at Christmas!)
**** You do not have to choose your dates now (so there is no hurry).
**** Current rates are peak season so rates may be considerably less at different times in the year.

We are still welcoming our guests and truly hope you can travel as planned. Our beaches are still beautiful with the best sunsets & sunshine there is to offer. We hope everyone will need the relaxation after these stressful times. Our vacation rental properties offer you a private getaway, allowing for social distance within a private home or condo, which offers amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, fully-equipped kitchens, most with keyless entry (so no interaction is necessary), and most feature a private balcony or deck.

Q: I bought travel insurance. How do I make a claim?

A: If you purchased travel insurance through VRBO/HomeAway, the insurance policy is provided through CSA. If you purchased insurance through Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals, your policy is provided by RedSky. To better understand your RedSky policy, you can call 1-866-889-7409. File claims with RedSky at https://www.trippreserverclaims.com/

Q: If I receive a credit and reschedule my dates, will I have to buy new travel insurance?

If you have opted in for either CSA or RedSky Travel Insurance, policies will transfer to new dates if you reschedule your vacation.

Q: If I reschedule my dates, do I have to stay in the same unit?

A: Although preferred, we welcome you to look through our properties! We understand that due to availability the same property may not be available.

Q: What if the new dates/units that I choose cost more than my reservation credit?

A: If the rental rate of your new reservation is more than your credit, you will be responsible for the difference.
