Tropic Terrace Treasure Island

Been a regular at Tropic Terrace for many years....always perfect!

Unit # 5 has everything you need to enjoy your stay and having a room downstairs within steps of the heated pool is wonderful. Come see for yourself and relax.

Always enjoy our stay in room #5. The room has everything you need to cook and eat in the room, nice size refrigerator and microwave. There is also chairs and an umbrella for the beach. Tropic Terrace is landscaped beautifully and the pool is right outside your door.

This was my first time at Tropic Terrace since 1980! The location is very convenient. Unit #5 neat & clean and was a great base for our Spring outing to the area.

Years ago Tropic Terrace was probably a motel. The units are now individually owned. It's small but adequate, nicely decorated and outfitted with what you need for a week's stay. At rear of building is a paved 3/4 mile walking path, and beach just beyond. Convenient location. Had problems trying to book thru VRBO (twice thought we had reservation at this & another TT unit, then told it was already booked) - - much better to call the rental agent office 727-290-9520. We've been there 2 years now and would go back.

Yes, it was great. Super clean and beautiful area. Definitely reccomend.

I would stay there again!

I selected Tropic Terrace based on 1) proximity to a house in Treasure Island rented by my family rented and 2) the availability of ground floor units. I was more than pleased with the unit for my purposes. The kitchen was well supplied with glasses and tableware. I did not do any cooking, but there was adequate cook and bake ware I could have used on the small range. The microwave and larger-than-expected refrigerated were put to good use The unit has been well cared for and was spotless when I arrived. Being able to walk the paved trail was a plus for me -- I walked it twice most days!  The grounds of Tropic Terrace were well cared for and very clean. There was a variety of ages staying there: families with very young children, young adults and seniors, like me. The staff was pleasant, helpful and very responsive to any questions or concerns (like the A/C unit). Should I come back to the area, I will definitely look at Tropic Terrace first!
